New Delhi: Harry Potter readers, here comes a piece of good news for you. Your favourite novelist JK Rowling plans to release four new Harry Potter ‘non-fiction’ eBooks this summer.
Pottermore Publishing announced that JK Rowling is releasing a series of non-fiction eBook shorts called Harry Potter: A Journey Through…” next month.
The eBooks to look forward to are Harry Potter: A Journey Through Charms and Defence Against the Dark Arts, Harry Potter: A Journey Through Potions and Herbology, Harry Potter: A Journey Through Divination and Astronomy, and Harry Potter: A Journey Through Care of Magical Creatures, which will be published in the coming months.

“These eBook shorts are adapted from the audiobook and are a chance to absorb the colourful characters and curious incidents of the real history of magic in a more compact form — perfect for the train or whatever Muggle transport you prefer,” Pottermore Publishing said in an official statement.
Each themed around a Hogwarts lessons, the series will take you back in time once again to learn about the traditional folklore and magic at the heart of the Harry Potter stories, accompanied by some new, gorgeous line drawings from London-based artist Rohan Daniel Eason, says Pottermore.
Themed on charms and defence against the dark arts, and potions and herbology, respectively, the first pair will be published on June 27, while the other pair will follow soon after.
“In addition to exploring the origins of magic through history and folklore, the eBook shorts will also feature notes, manuscript pages and charming sketches as previously seen in Harry Potter: A History of Magic,” Pottermore Publishing said.
The eBooks will be launched in English, French, Italian, and German initially, and later, will be available for pre-order at Amazon UK and Amazon US, Apple and Kobo.
Since the 2007 publication of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the final novel in the original series, JK Rowling has been steadily expanding the Wizarding World.
